All hounds at Andrews Bridge are Penn-Marydel Foxhounds. Originally Penn-Marydel's were bred for hunting in Pennsylvania, Maryland, and Delaware. However, they have become extremely popular and are now found throughout hunts the US. At one time, Andrews Bridge had the only black and tan pack in the country, but due to the generosity of Bob Crompton there are several black and tan packs founded on the breeding of the Andrews Bridge. The Andrews Bridge hounds have always been known for not only their exceptional confirmation, but for their hunting ability, voice, drive, and biddability.
